A mace is a huge, enormously heavy weapon—a solid bronze head attached to a thick handle.

✦✧ Strength You’ve learned to use your mace’s enormous momentum to knock your foes on their heels. On a hit or block, your mace attacks inflict -2 guard.

✦✦✧ Strength Take -1 guard or awareness and make a mace attack with a -2 penalty. If this attack doesn’t provoke a counter, your momentum enables you to follow through and make a second free mace attack, also with a -2 penalty. The second attack can target the same foe or another foe nearby.

✪ Jumping Smash

✦✦✧ Strength When you jump attack with your mace, the weight of the weapon creates a shockwave as it smashes the ground. Hit, block, or miss, make a free Shove brace targeting the foe you’re attacking and anyone adjacent to them.

✪ Smashing Constitution

✦✦✦✧ Strength Gain +2 maximum Life.
