You’re capable of moving with exceptional poise and grace. You might have been a performer, or perhaps dance is how you manifest other movements, like thievery or combat.

You start with the following ability:

✧ Agility You can use this ability as an action during battle, or as a rest activity.

Rhythm of Battle

Roll Maneuver to dance warily around your opponents while carefully observing their own movements and the flow of battle.✦ 5+: You gain +1 overflow awareness and Evade as a free action. ⬖ 3–4: You Evade as a free action.ⓧ 1–2: You Evade as a free action with a -2 penalty.

Rhythm of Rest

As a rest activity, roll Maneuver to perform a meditative dance.✦ 5+: You gain +1 overflow Spirit. ⬖ 3–4: No effect.ⓧ 1–2: You end your rest with -1 spirit or -1 stamina (your choice).If your max Stamina and max Spirit are both zero, you can't perform this activity. If you successfully perform Rhythm of Rest and you know the Song lore, you can ✪ Tell the Tale as a second, free activity during the same rest.

✦✧ Agility Take -1 awareness and roll Maneuver to dance in a way that absorbs attention. This action targets a number of foes in your span up to your Agility. ✦ Success: The foe(s) suffer -1 awareness and -1 guard. ⬖ Struggle: The foe suffers -1 awareness. ⓧ Failure: No effect.

✪ Share Dance

✦✦✧ Agility Gain +1 max Spirit. You've developed a talent for dancing with others, extending your grace to even the clumsiest souls. When you use ✪ Rhythm of Rest, you can invite another character to dance with you. If the character accepts:

They can also use Rhythm of Rest as their rest activity, without knowing the ability.
You roll Compel. The other character can use this result in place of their Maneuver roll for Rhythm of Rest.
If you both succeed, you both gain +2 overflow spirit and +1 overflow awareness.

✪ Synchronization

✦✦✦✧ Agility Requires ✪ Share Dance. Gain +1 max Spirit. If you and another character who also knows Dance simultaneously use any ability from this lore, use the higher result of both your rolls.
